A lifelong resident of Waterloo, she spent nearly 15 years serving Monroe County through her work in dispatch at the Sheriff's Department. Her passion for helping people in meaningful moments made the transition into real estate a natural next step.
Known for her bubbly personality, attention to detail, and dedication to client care, Lauren quickly made a name for herself in the real estate world. She prides herself on making the process smooth and stress-free. Today, Lauren is proudly brokered by eXp Realty and has partnered with fellow Waterloo native and seasoned Realtor Lisa Meegan. Outside of real estate, Lauren stays busy with her husband Dane, who serves as Chief of Police in Waterloo, and their four kids—Landon, Reese, Layla, and El. The family is always on the go with sports and school activities, and they share their home with three energetic dogs named Petra, Bella, and Montana. Lauren also runs a successful charcuterie board business, bringing flavor and creativity to events across the community.

Lisa is your hometown Realtor, a proud Waterloo native with nearly two decades of experience serving Monroe County and the surrounding Illinois communities.
Her real estate journey began with RE/MAX in May 2006, where she quickly built a reputation for delivering results with integrity, consistency, and heart. Over the years, Lisa has earned multiple 100% Club and Platinum Club awards and was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2016. Her highest honor came with the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her long-standing commitment to excellence and client success.
In an exciting new chapter, Lisa recently joined eXp Realty and partnered with former client, friend, and now teammate Lauren Bivens-Luke. Together, they combine their strengths to offer clients even more personalized and powerful service.
